OFF WHITE founder and designer Virgil Abloh shook up sneaker culture with his highly anticipated “The Ten” footwear collection, created in collaboration with Nike. The collection assembles 10 models, split in half between two categories – “REVEALING” and “GHOSTING.” Comprised of both legacy designs and Nike’s newest innovations, here we highlight Abloh’s interpretation of the classic Blazer Mid shoe. The “REVEALING” component arrived first in a hand-cut, open-source, and reconstructed look. The pair shares design cues with its counterparts, most notably the explicit “AIR” messaging, exposed stitching, and bold off-center Swoosh. Abloh outfits the Blazer Mid in a suede, leather, and nylon-like material, with paneling that gives it a high fashion look. Additional orange accents complete the shoe.
Brand: Nike, OFF-WHITE
Key Features: Leather and suede upper, enlarged Swoosh branding on the sides, additional branding detail above the Swoosh, off-white-colored midsole and toe cap.
Release Date: September 1st, 2017
Editor’s Notes: After receiving a teaser, now we have a better look at OFF-WHITE’s upcoming take on the Blazer. The shoe makes use of significant branding hits alongside, most notably, a large Swoosh.
For the OFF-WHITE Blazer Mid, Nike’s Swoosh logo is once again exaggerated, extending onto the shoe’s midsole. Speaking with Business of Fashion, Abloh explained “That shoe exemplifies making a product interesting by only changing a design element by three percent. The swoosh logo of that shoe overlaps the sole without it detracting away from the iconography, which makes it more interesting and wearable.
Stay tuned for additional details surrounding the release.

We knew it was just hours until Jordan Brand unveiled the next iteration of Air Jordan signature line, the Air Jordan 32. The Air Jordan 32 is inspired by the essence of the Air Jordan 2 and flaunts a modernized silhouette from materials to aesthetics.
The latest signature features a Flyknit upper that uses high-tenacity yarn that should combine stretch, support, and zonal lock down. The lockdown is integrated into the Flyknit construction and it’s paired with tuned-up Flight Speed technology that should unleash the energy in the large Zoom Air units in the forefoot and heel.
The 32 sits atop an improved multidirectional herringbone traction pattern; it is comprised of a series of wiper blade-like shapes that should offer some good traction.
The Air Jordan 32 Rosso Corsa colorway is available September 30 while the Air Jordan 32 ‘Black/Red’ will launch in both a Mid and Low build on October 18 for $185 and $165, respectively.
We will, of course, be putting the Air Jordan 32 through its paces in a performance review once we have it in our possession so make sure you keep it locked on JordansUnveil.com.
